I learn crochet.

It began as my son, William, got beginner crochet in craft lesson in the school. He is at 4th grade primary school. Last monday, he showed me the chain stitch. 20cm long.... and 1,30m in 4 days !!!! He loves crochet :-)  and I don't know anything about crochet :-(
So I arranged a small workshop with a friend, who is doing crochet for more than 15 years. William and I went to her on Saturday and learned our corporated crochet. Took about 3 hours (beside laugh and funny things) and we are ending with half woll hat / beanie. It was really Fun!!!! William is totally happy, me too.

The 2 colors belongs to William. The blue one is mine. They use difference yarn.. mine is thicker than William's.

 This white flower is my next adventure. It looks terrible. Need more days and time ;-)

If our wool hat ready, I promise to show you. But I don't know... when!

New Year - New Spirit

wow wow... only 2 days until the end of 2013. Time flies!

What did I think of 2013? 2013 was busy year, everyday full up with family things and work. Nothing bad with it, love my kids and husband too much :-)  Office work is important too, so 2013 was great !

And what do I think for 2014? More relaxing days, more money, more fun at work, and more more more good things to come. Ammeeenn ;-)
I will trying to make some jewelry too. Maybe to filling my shop (which is nothing inside) or just to be happy playing with beads-wire-clay-etc. In fact, Xmas days brought me good time for wiring again. I made bracelet and ring. Here they are:

Bracelet with miscellanous beads. Wrapped them with 20ga silver platted wire. So much fun !!!

Small ring with wood bead. Maybe bought from Indonesia, not sure. It is pretty and unique.

New Druzy Necklace

As mom with 3 kids and halfday job, always hard to get time for playing with jewelry. It was beginning of March as I started this copper clay pendant. Prepare the base, leaves, tiny balls. Some days gone ... sticking them nicely with thick paste. Another days .... refining and smoothing. Today, 23rd March, finally I finished it ! Happy dance ;-)

Stone bezel is copper wire.

Hamburg August 2012

So hello again :-) I'm back from Hamburg. And here some pictures from Beaders Best Fair. Everywhere beads, findings, beads and... beads ;-)
Halli hallo !!! Ich bin zurück aus Hamburg.  Und hier habe ich Bilder aus Perlenkunst Messe. Überall sind Perlen, Schmuckzubehör, Perlen und .... Perlen ;-)

The lovely couple below offered stunning ceramic beads and cabochons. Kiln-safe !!! I bought some for  playing time with Silver Art Clay. The pic under is my necklaces in glass cabinet. Two days for the Show!  Proud ;-)
The other things is, my workshop was doing great... 11 fabulous ladies in the class... thank you !!!
Die nette Paar unten bieten atemberaubenden Keramikperlen und Cabochon. Hitze beständig bis 1000'C !!! Denk an Silber Art Clay, habe ich paar Perlen gekauft. Das andere Bild unten ist Bild von meiner Ketten im Glass-Vitrine. 2 Tage lang zum ausstellen !!! yeah... ;-)
Mein Kurs war fantastic ... 11 fabelhaft Damen waren dabei... danke sehr !!

Next year hope that I come again. Fingers crossed !!!!!
Nächstes Jahr wünsche ich mir wieder nach Hamburg zu fahren. Druck die Daumen !!!

1001 Nacht Kette

Do you remember my Water Edge's Pendant? This necklace is my other version of it. All handmade. Each S-shaped wire is coiling with thin wire. Strong and stay like they should be. At each corner where the wires touch, I have Swarovski bead incorporated. Also hanging below freshwater Pearl and Swarovski Barock pendant. Love the way it turned out, red and silver design 'dancing' together. Final touch is the cream color freshwater Pearls necklace. Its length is about 50cm.
Die Idee kommt von meinem Water Edge’s Anhänger. Ein weiteres filigranes Muster, alles handgemachte Rahmen und Verknüpfungen. Jeder S-form-Draht ist mit dünnem Draht umwickelt. So bleiben Sie, wie sie sollen. Alles in Sterling Silver. An jeder Ecke wo sich 2 Drähte berühren, habe ich eine Swarovski Perle eingearbeitet. Ebenfalls unten hängen Süßwasserperle und Barock Swarovski Anhänger. Ich mag die Art, wie sie zusammen "tanzen", das rote und silber Design harmonieren sehr schön zusammen. Es hängt an einer wunderschönen cremefarbenen Süßwasserperlenkette. Die gesamt Länge ist ca. 50 cm.
